Drive Chain Kits
Always connected.
AUTEX timing chain kits. The practical complete solution for the perfect maintenance and repair of engine control systems.
The chain drive is only as strong as each of its component parts! With high mileage, it is not only the timing chains but also parts of the peripherals that suffer wear and tear. These should therefore all be replaced together. Efficiency and operational safety are only guaranteed when all the relevant parts of the complete system are replaced.
Practical complete solution.
Chain wheels, slide rails, roller chains and the corresponding assembly accessories: All component parts are perfectly tailored to each other and are subject to strict quality testing. Additionally, the use of a complete kit offers considerably greater protection against failure, damage and warranty claims.

Convincing advantages.
- Greater operational safety for the engine
- Ultra-precise allocation of all parts with the kits
- Broad product range
- Tested, consistent top quality with all parts

How does it work?
Some assembly tips from Autex.
Unfortunately, the engine control of the affected Korean vehicles is unstable and vulnerable. Noises and chain elongation occur very early on.
The required operational reliability can only be achieved by consistently replacing all components!

Important assembly instructions:
Tip 1
all parts of the timing chain kit must be assembled. Any remaining „old“ components, especially run-in sprockets, will cause the new link chain to wear out quickly and prematurely.

Tip 2
the Camshaft Adjuster (AUTEX 718018) needs to be replaced as a matter of urgency: on the one hand because of mostly worn out teeth, on the other hand because of running clearance & lack of damping. Here the chain starts to vibrate during operation and is thus subjected to unacceptably high loads.

Tip 3
check the installed Control Valves Camshaft (z. B. AUTEX 716035) of the Camshaft Adjuster urgently for dirt, and replace it if necessary as a precaution. The control valve must be taught-in via the tester.

Tip 4
you should always check for updates of the engine control unit. There are actually several outdated versions for these vehicles.
Tip 5
oil change intervals should be strictly adhered to and the oil filter should be changed regularly. The link
chain does not tolerate dirt at all.
