With the AUTEX timing-chain set VAG 1,4l - TSI.

When it comes to the engine of the VAG 1,4l – TSI, original VAG dealers offer two new "conversion kits", designed to fix existing problems.

AUTEX now offers you the complete set with highest-quality chain, drive pinion (19/18Z or 19/23Z), NW sprocket, camshaft adjuster and tension rails with tensioner.

The order numbers are:

OE: 03C 198 229 C = AUTEX 717015 (with chain wheel 19/18Z instead of 18/18 Z in the old version)
OE: 03C 198 229 B = AUTEX 717016 (with chain wheel 19/23Z instead of 18/23 Z in the old version)

(The camshaft adjuster now has 38 Z)

Our digital catalogue data for the timing-chain set is also currently being updated.

Our tip for the workshop:
The conversion should be documented (logbook) so that the correct parts can be used directly for future repairs.
