Sustainability has been a real concern for us for many years, because well thought-out solutions benefit the environment, society and businesses. Therefore, we are delighted to have been awarded the distinction from the City of Cologne in 2016 as an ÖKOPROFIT® business. This prize has now been awarded for the third time in the cathedral city, and rewards entrepreneurial ecological and economic commitment. AUTEX has been distinguished because we have carried out various optimisations within our company to save large amounts of energy, CO2 and therefore costs. FC Cologne, Cologne Bonn Airport, the trade fair centre and other renowned companies from Cologne were also involved in the ÖKOPROFIT® project. A total of 13 companies were awarded the “ÖKOPROFIT®-Betrieb Köln 2016” prize at the official prize-giving ceremony on 5 April 2016 at Cologne Zoo by Mayor Andreas Wolter and regional environment minister Johannes Remmel. And we are very proud to have been a part of that.
